Safety Rules
These rules define how FoxPlot handles youth safety, age gates, ad placement, hidden content, AI disclosure, and high-risk moderation.
Advertisements are blocked from Read experiences. Ads may only appear in Listen and Watch placements.
Adult 18+ content must be gated and hidden from youth profiles before public access.
Submissions marked under review, pending review, rejected, or suspended are hidden from public browsing.
Author and advertiser submissions using AI assistance should include the AI-generated tag.
Watch ads or videos with rapid flashes should show a visible safety warning before playback.
Self-harm, hate/extremism, illegal activity, weapons, gambling, and adult content require extra moderation attention.
Compliance Checklist
This is not legal advice. It is a working checklist to keep FoxPlot’s compliance tasks visible while the app is being built.
FoxPlot has a rating model for Everyone, Everyone 10+, Teen, Mature 17+, and Adult 18+.
Submissions can be tagged with violence, language, sensitive topics, AI-generated material, ads, and other flags.
Admins can review submitted content, policy results, metadata, safety tags, and requested placements.
Authors can prepare ratings, warnings, AI disclosure, mature-content confirmation, and rights confirmation.
Advertisers can submit ads with placement rules, ratings, warnings, policy confirmation, and youth-targeting confirmation.
Safety rules must later be enforced from the database/API layer, not only the frontend.
Privacy Policy, Terms, content policy, ad policy, and child-safety disclosures still need final legal review.
Before launch, the platform needs region-aware compliance review for app stores, youth safety, payments, ads, taxes, and content laws.

These demo bands describe how FoxPlot should treat guests, children, teens, mature 17+ users, and adults.
Age range: Unknown age
Unknown-age guests should only receive the safest content until an age profile is known.
