This draft outlines the rules for using FoxPlot as a reader, author, advertiser, administrator, or platform visitor.

Using FoxPlot

Users should use FoxPlot lawfully, respectfully, and in a way that does not harm the platform, creators, advertisers, readers, children, or other users.

  • Do not upload illegal, infringing, exploitative, hateful, abusive, or unsafe material.
  • Do not attempt to bypass age gates, account restrictions, payment systems, or moderation decisions.
  • Do not misuse reports, appeals, privacy requests, ads, affiliate links, or creator tools.
  • Do not interfere with platform security, availability, routes, files, APIs, or infrastructure.

Author submissions

Authors are responsible for the content they submit, the rights they claim, the disclosures they make, and the safety tags attached to their work.

  • Authors should only submit content they own or have permission to distribute.
  • AI-assisted content should be disclosed when required.
  • Mature, sensitive, adult, violent, sexual, or otherwise restricted material must be accurately tagged.
  • FoxPlot may review, reject, restrict, remove, suspend, or request changes to content.

Advertiser campaigns

Advertisers are responsible for accurate, lawful, and properly disclosed campaigns. Sponsored placements, affiliate links, and ad campaigns may require review before approval.

  • Ads must be truthful, properly labeled, and compliant with FoxPlot advertising policy.
  • Ads are not allowed inside the digital book reading experience.
  • Ads may be eligible for Listen and Watch placements only when approved.
  • FoxPlot may pause, reject, remove, refund, review, or restrict campaigns.

Payments, payouts, and platform fees

FoxPlot may support subscriptions, author payouts, advertiser billing, affiliate commissions, sponsored placements, platform fees, refunds, and revenue ledgers through compliant payment providers.

  • Author payouts may require identity verification, provider onboarding, tax review, and admin approval.
  • Advertiser campaigns may require funded balances, billing approval, and spend limits.
  • Some balances may be held for fraud, dispute, legal, safety, or compliance review.
  • Final payment and payout terms should be reviewed before launch.

Moderation, reports, and appeals

FoxPlot may moderate content, ads, accounts, submissions, payouts, and platform activity to protect users and comply with policy.

  • Users may report content, ads, profiles, comments, accounts, or safety concerns.
  • Authors and advertisers should have a way to appeal eligible moderation decisions.
  • Admins may approve, reject, hide, age-restrict, suspend, escalate, or remove content or accounts.
  • Sensitive admin actions should be logged permanently in production.
